Free Nigerian Money Tools
Everything you need to check a code, work out a transfer's real cost and confirm a bank's details, in one place.
USSD Code Finder
Pick your bank or app, then what you want to do, and get the exact code to dial with a copy button and a tap-to-dial link. It is for anyone standing at a counter or out of data who needs the right shortcut now, not a list to scroll through.
Why this one: Covers every bank and app we have checked in one search, instead of bookmarking twelve separate pages.
Open toolTransfer Charges Calculator
Type an amount and see what an electronic transfer will cost before you send it. Useful if you move money often, pay suppliers or just want to know why your balance dropped by more than you sent.
Why this one: Breaks the transfer fee, 7.5% VAT and stamp duty out separately, rather than giving one blended number.
Open toolBank Code Lookup
Find a Nigerian bank's CBN sort code or SWIFT code when someone asks for it to send you money, locally or from abroad. Built for people filling in a payment form, not dialling a phone.
Why this one: Explains what each code is actually for, not just the number, so you give the sender the right one.

How these tools stay accurate
Wrong banking information costs real money, so nothing in these tools is copied from forums or other code-list sites. Every USSD code, sort code and SWIFT code is matched against the provider's own website, app or official social account. Each one is shown with the date it was checked and a link to the page it was checked on, so you can confirm it yourself in one tap.
A code only appears once it has been reviewed. If a bank or app has nothing reviewed for an action, the finder says so plainly rather than guessing. The transfer charges calculator uses the fee bands in the Central Bank of Nigeria's Guide to Charges, with VAT and stamp duty applied at their published rates, and the sources are listed on the calculator page.
Banks do change codes and charges. When a provider updates something, we change the figure and its checked date together. The full process, including how corrections are handled, is in our editorial policy.
What's coming next
We are working on a transfer limit checker, showing the daily USSD and app limits each bank publishes. Like everything else here, it will only go up once each bank's figures have been checked against its own pages.
Frequently asked questions
- Are these tools free?
- Yes. All three tools are free to use, with no paid tier and no limit on how many times you use them.
- How often are the codes checked?
- Every code shows the date it was last checked against the bank or app's own website or official channel, with a link to that source. When a provider changes a code, we update the row and its date. If a date looks old, treat it as a prompt to confirm with your bank.
- Can I suggest a bank or app that's missing?
- Yes. Use the contact page to tell us which bank or fintech app you want added. We only publish its codes after checking them against the provider's own channels, so it may take a little time to appear.
- Do I need to create an account to use these?
- No. You can use every tool without signing up, logging in or giving an email address.
- Is my data stored when I use the calculator?
- No. The calculator runs entirely in your browser. The amount you type is never sent to us or saved anywhere, and it is gone when you close the page. We will never ask for your account number, PIN or BVN on any tool.
